Highland Heather Congratulations card

Hello! I thought you might like to see this congratulations card I made for my friends’ wedding anniversary…

I haven’t used the Detailed Floral Thinlits dies for ages so I decided to give them some overdue attention. My friends’ wedding colours included purple so Highland Heather was my first choice. I used Whisper White for my card base then used the dies on the Highland Heather card. I added the die cuts to the base and then trimmed both edges with the edge die.

I added a panel of Highland Heather to the inside too. I also cut a panel of Whisper White that I stamped the Congratulations from the Floral Phrases stamp set in Highland Heather ink. I used the Delicate Trio pinch to add a bit of detail on each corner before I added this panel.

I created a belly band to bridge the gap between the two front panels an d keep the card closed. I used the Petal Burst embossing folder to add some texture to the belly band and ribbon to add colour. Unfortunately the ribbon is no longer available but white ribbon would be a pretty extra detail too.

I added a few rhinestones and glitter enamel dots to the front as a final touch.
