Hello and thanks for joining me.
After making the cute card with the handprints from the First Steps stamp set a few days ago, I got a little bit carried away and also made a gift tag…
For this I used a 2 inch wide strip of Whisper White Thick card and the same Subtles Designer Series Paper as I used for my card. I used my Triple Banner Punch on both pieces before gluing them together. The bottle is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and the Welcome Little One is in Blushing Bride ink. I used one of the Spot of Tea Framelits to cut this out and added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to create the hole for the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon that I tied with some Whisper White Bakers Twine.
And then I decorated a shop bought white gift bag…
I used Blushing Bride card on the front of the bag. I actually used 2 pieces that I could run through my Big Shot in the Scattered Sequins embossing folder. To cover the join I used one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits dies that I cut from Whisper White card twice. I joined that roughly in the middle of the bag. To cover that join I added my sentiment. This was stamped in Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White card and cut using one of the Layering Circle dies. I cut a larger circle from Smoky Slate card and an even larger one from the Subtles Designer Series Paper pack. All 3 were glued together and then added to the bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Now, I needed a gift to put in the bag! I had a little perspex & cork frame I picked up in Ikea and made a little bit of decor perfect for a nursery…
I stamped the same sentiment as the gift bag but used the Stitched Shapes dies to cut it out this time. Again I backed it with Smoky Slate card and added it to a piece of Subtles Designer Series Paper. Finally I used the Sunshine Wishes dies to cut the word ‘love’ from Whisper White card and added it to the DSP.
I think this makes a very cute combination, don’t you?
Now, I need to put this gorgeous stamp set away before I do this all again in blue, yellow, green, purple etc!
