Hello & Happy Monday!
Well it is for me as I’m not working at my ‘proper job’ today. Hopefully this means that I’ll get some extra crafty time later.
Last Monday I showed you a little bundle of envelopes that were filled with cards ready to be mailed to remind a few people of how much they mean to me. I’ve decided to make this a regular thing and to make sure I’m not always sending cards to the same few people I thought I should jot down who I’ve sent cards to and when.
I always have a few notebooks on hand but they’re rather boring kraft covered ones that need to be jazzed up a bit. Here’s my latest version, just for me…
This is an A6 hardback book so I added a piece of Tranquil Textures designer series paper on the front that measures 4 & 3/4 inches by 5 & 3/4 inches. I die cut the NOTES from Night of Navy card using my Large Letters Framelits dies. So quick and easy!!
I then added a little pocket to the inside for receipts or my business cards…
And because I still had the First Steps stamp set on my desk from yesterday’s card I decided to stamp the bottom right hand corner of each page with either the stars, dots or heart in Night of Navy, Soft Sea Foam or Balmy Blue inks.
I love the coincidence that my skinny rainbow pen slips nicely into the spiral of the notebook – slightly less chance of me losing it at the bottom of my handbag, lol.
Right, I better get some cards written and mailed #MailItMonday #MakeACardSendACard
