Today’s project is a little gift box made using the brand new Incredible Like You stamp set. I love everything about this stamp set, but especially the sentiments. Aren’t the fonts just adorable?
The box is made from Powder Pink card measuring 6 & 1/4 inches by 8 & 1/4 inches scored as follows:
- On the long side at 1/2 inch, 3 inches, 4 & 3/8 inches and 6 & 7/8 inches
- On the short side at 1 & 3/8 inches and 4 & 7/8 inches
With you card with the long side at the top, simply cut up the vertical score lines from the bottom to the first horizontal score line. Turn 180 degrees then repeat. Glue the tab at the side of the box and then the tabs at the bottom. Pop your goodies into the box and then fold over the top flaps.
Cut a piece of Whisper White card that is 10 & 1/4 inches by 2 & 1/4 inches. Starting at the base, wrap this around the box gently creasing one fold at a time then burnishing making sure it’s straight. Continue until the card overlaps at the bottom. Then stamp with the Powder Pink ink. I stamped the front & back the same and just added the lines to the top and bottom parts. Glue the piece that overlaps at the bottom of the box. You want it to be a close fit but still possible to slide off.
I popped two L’Occitane Cherry Blossom 35ml bottles in my box but you could pop any small gift in it.
