Hello and thank you for joining me.
Stampin’ Up! have made card making easy for us over the years in so many ways, colours that match perfectly, stamps that match punches or dies, the stamparatus tool and much more.
Today I want to show you some cards I made using the Best Route Memories & More card pack. I’ve not done any stamping at all on these cards but have simply used Whisper White card for my bases, the Memories & More card pack, the Best Route designer series paper, 2 punches, adhesives and a bit of bling…
In the above card I used my usual Whisper White card base (29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm) then added a layer of dsp measuring 10 x 14 cm. I added 2 other designs of dsp from the pack to back the sentiment. I took inspiration from the Annual catalogue (page 52) to snip the words from the Memories & More card apart before adding them to my card. I added 3 Twinkle adhesive stars for a little sparkle.
My next card uses 2 of the smaller cards from the Memories & More pack…
This has the same card base and DSP layer but I simply added the 2 small cards, one of the stickers that come in the Memories & More pack and 2 Metallic Pearls in silver.
My third card is where I used the punches…
The striped Memories & More card that I trimmed to be my main layer is textured so I wanted it to be the main focus. The stripe is some of the DSP but the sentiment is punched from another small Memories & More card with my 2 inch circle punch. I used my Starburst punch on another small card to back the sentiment. I didn’t think this one needed any bling!
I absolutely love the sentiments on each of these cards, they’re all motivational and fun at the same time. The Memories & More card pack contains a total of 56 cards plus stickers for £9.25. The possibilities are endless.
You can make cards with any of the Memories & More card packs if you simply adhere them to the Whisper White Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. It really doesn’t get any easier than that!!
The Memories & More cards are also perfect for journalling or scrapbooking. Just take a look at pages 194 to 196 in the annual 2018/2019 Stampin’ Up! catalogue for more inspiration. Drop me a note of your address if you’d like a free copy sent to you.
