Hello! Thank you cards are always in need but especially at this time of year when we’ve received lovely and thoughtful Christmas gifts.
A few days ago I shared a card where I had simply stamped straight onto one of the Stampin’ Up! Note Cards & envelopes. Today I’ve used one of the Narrow Note Cards & envelopes for this quick thank you card…
This time I’ve added layers rather than just stamping on the Note Card. My Lemon Lime Twist layer measures 2 & 1/4 by 4 & 1/4 inches, which is 1/4 inch less than the front of the Note Card. I added a Whisper White layer that measures 2 & 1/8th by 4 & 1/8th inches, so that there’s a smaller edge of the bolder colour showing.
I used the Bubble Over stamp set and the Bubbles & More dies. I chose the smaller bottle stamp and when I had it on my clear block I made sure that I didn’t put all of the stamp onto the Lemon Lime Twist ink, I left the top of the bottle overhanging the ink pad and then stamped onto Whisper White card. I used Blueberry Bushel ink for the sentiment on the bottle. I then die cut the bottle and also a bottle cap from Silver Foil card.
I stamped the bubbles in Lemon Lime Twist ink onto the Whisper White layer of card, the bottom corner of the inside of the card and the flap of the envelope. Finally I glued on the bottle and the cap.
This is quite a quick and easy card which is great if you’ve got quite a few to make.
