Hello.
If you read yesterday’s blog post you might remember that I punched shapes out of the glimmer paper layer of my cards to use on other projects. Well, this is how I used the Tailored Tag punched paper…
Sometimes it’s easier to gift cash at Christmas, especially if you know that the recipient is saving for something special. You could just pop the cash in with a card but I like to make it look a bit more special with it’s very own gift wrapping!
I used Tranquil Tide Card cut to 6 & 1/2 by 7 & 1/2 inches, scored and folded on the long side at 2 and 5 & 1/2 inches. I used my Detailed Trio Punch to round 2 corners on the right side and added adhesive tape to the left side of the bottom panel.
I cut 2 pieces of the Joyous Noel designer series paper measuring 6 & 1/4 by 1 & 3/4 inches and rounded 1 corner on each panel to match the card base.
I added a belly band of matching card that is 3/4 inch wide. I didn’t score this but gently creased it when I wrapped it round the wallet. Try to leave it loose enough to slide on or off, but not fall off.
I stamped Noel from Peaceful Noel stamp set, in Tranquil Tide ink on Whisper White card, then cut this out using my Tailored Tag Punch. I backed this with the tag from the Joyous Noel glimmer paper then added it to the belly band.
I hate to waste such gorgeous paper and I hope you agree I put it to good use on this project.
I’ve listed the products used on this project below. Unfortunately the Joyous Noel DSP has sold out and won’t be restocked. You can click on the links to visit my online shop to purchase the other products. I’d be delighted to be your independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
Remember that the Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza is on right now!
Happy crafting
