Hello and thank you for joining me today.
It was one of lovely friend’s birthday on Sunday and she loves the colour purple. I realised I didn’t have any suitable cards ready made so a quick visit to my craft room was needed. This is the card I made…
My card base measures 21 x 14.5 cm, score and folded on the long edge at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold. I added a layer of Gorgeous Grape layer measuring 14 x 10 cm, then a layer of Subtles 6 x 6 inch DSP in Highland Heather trimmed down to 13.5 x 9.5 cm.
I then used the fabulous Happy Birthday thinlits die with both Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather card and glued them together, just slightly offset.
The Friend and little hearts stamps are from A Big Thank You stamp set, in Highland Heather ink onto Whisper White card. This was cut using the classic label punch. I also cut one from Gorgeous Grape and cut it in half so that I could have a bit of it showing at each end of my stamped one.
Finally, I added 3 Gorgeous Grape glitter enamel dots, which are super shiny!
This is a super quick and easy card to make and you could do it in whatever colour your friend likes best!
