I hope you like today’s Christmas card using the Beautiful Blizzard bundle…
I used one of the Whisper White note cards & envelopes. These are so handy and a lovely size at 5 x 3.5 inches. I added a layer of Balmy Blue card measuring 4.75 x 3.25 inches.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 4.5 x 3 inches for my top layer. I stamped this with Balmy Blue ink for the background using various stamps from Beautiful Blizzard stamp set. I then swiped this layer with my embossing buddy to remove static and fingertips. I stamped the snowflakes in Versamark ink, sprinkled with Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I love the shine you get!
I’d cut the snowflakes from Night of Navy card when I made this previous card using the Blizzard Thinlits die…
I stuck some of them to my card layer and allowed some to go over the edge, then used my paper snips to trim them.
I then stamped the Season’s Greetings in Balmy Blue ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed it and backed it with some Balmy Blue card. Before adding this to the card I added some loops of Silver Metallic Thread with a glue dot. I added the sentiment with a length of Foam Adhesive strip to give it a little bit of height.
For a little extra touch I stamped some snowflakes in Balmy Blue ink to the inside of the card in the bottom right corner and did the same on the front of the envelope.
