In yesterday’s blog I mentioned that one of the many perks of being an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator was being able to get my hands on fabulous new products before they are available to buy online. Well today I will be enjoying another kind of perk by meeting up with fellow demonstrators from across Scotland.
I am already friends with some of the lovely ladies attending and am looking forward to meeting many more like minded people to craft together and discuss business tips etc.
One of the traditions of such get togethers is to swap projects. We make something using Stampin’ Up! products from the current catalogues and then swap them for projects made by other people attending. At this event I think we have 42 people so I’ve made something for everyone.
As this blog is published before I go to the event I don’t want to give too much away but here are a couple of sneak peeks for you..
I stamped Whisper White card with leaf stamps from Rooted in Nature in a mix of Tranquil Tide, Old Olive, Call Me Clover, Mint Macaron and Garden Green inks. I’ve chopped this up to decorate my ‘swaps’
There’s been lots of cutting, scoring, die cutting, embossing and punching as well as my stamping. Please pop back tomorrow to see the results.
If you use Instagram please keep an eye out for photos from today’s event by following nellieshobbies.
I’ll show you my swap tomorrow and hopefully share lots of other projects I’ve received over the next few days. I’m hoping we’ll all get lots of fabulous inspiration!
Please pop back soon.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
