May your Christmas be bright – gift tag

As a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator one of the many perks is to be able to buy some products before they go on public release.  The Autumn/Winter 2018 catalogue launches on 5th September but I wanted to share a sneak peek with a gift tag CASE’d from the front page…

The one shown on the cover uses the stamps from the Making Christmas Bright set for the bulbs but I cheated and just used the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch using Real Read, Garden Green and Mango Melody card plus some Silver Foil card.  I used Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder for the sentiment and the string for the lights.

I cut the circles using my Layering Circles Framelits dies; using the largest ones of the set.

You don’t really see this type of bulb much these days but they remind me of Christmases from my childhood.  You can’t beat a bit of nostalgia at Christmastime!
