The Garden Impressions 6 x 6 inch designer series paper pack has so many gorgeous papers to choose from and sometimes you just need to let such pretty papers be the centre of attention. That’s what I’ve done with today’s card…
My card base is Night of Navy card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I added a piece of this fabulous paper that measures 14 x 10 cm.
As I didn’t want to hide much of the paper I decided to keep it simple with a double banner. The bottom layer is Soft Sea foam that’s 1.75 inches wide and the top layer is Night of Navy that’s 1.5 inches wide. Each layer was cut using my Triple Banner Punch, which makes it much easier to make sure your notches are parallel. You can choose what length you want your banners to end up, I glued both layers together and then cut off the excess.
I stamped Happy Birthday from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Soft Sea Foam ink onto Whisper White card and added some leaves and flowers from the same set, also using Powder Pink ink. This was cut using one of the Stitched Shapes dies. I also cut a scalloped circle in Soft Sea Foam card using one of the Layering Circles dies. I added the Whisper White circle onto the Soft Sea Foam one using Stampin’ Dimensionals
