Crackers don’t just have to be for Christmas, they make great containers for all sorts of treats at any time of the year. Wouldn’t these make great party favours?
This combination of Real Red and Pineapple Punch is so bright and just makes me think of parties!
And inside we’ve got 3 Ferrero chocolates, even better…
These are so easy to make, here’s how:
- Cut a piece of Real Red card measuring 9 x 7.5 inches
- Score on the long side at 1, 1.5, 2, 7, 7.5 and 8 inches
- Score on the short side at 1.75, 3.5, 5.25 and 7 inches
- Use your envelope punch board to punch at 1.5 inches along each vertical fold, at both ends. This gives your box the cracker shape.
I stamped Whisper White card with the 2 step stamps from Picture Perfect Birthday to create the gift bows. The larger stamp is in Pineapple Punch and the accent stamp is in Daffodil Delight. I cut this into 4 strips measuring 4.75 x 1.5 inches each and added these to the Real Read card, before glueing along the long edge to form the cracker.
I stamped the label, again using stamps from Picture Perfect Birthday and Pineapple Punch and Real Red ink onto Whisper White card. I used by Tailored Tag punch to cut out the sentiment and to cut an extra Real Red tag which I snipped diagonally to back the Whisper White one.
Just pop your treats inside and I tied a length of Real Read and Pineapple Punch ribbon in a double knot at each end.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project, I’d love to read your comments below.
