Sometimes you need a really quick card, in my case a Thank You card, and that’s where a coordinating stamp and punch can really save the day!
The Little Elephant bundle was perfect for the job. As this was a quick card I’ve kept it pretty simple, but hopefully still effective….
My card base is Pineapple Punch card, which measures 29 x 10.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5cm to give us a portrait tent fold. The next layer is Bermuda Bay measuring 14 x 10cm and finally Whisper White measuring 13.5 x 9.5cm.
I stamped the larger of the 2 elephants in Bermuda Bay ink onto Whisper White card and punched it out – so quick & easy!!
The other stamps are from the same set and I used both Bermuda Bay and Pineapple Punch inks straight onto the Whisper White layer.
I adhered the Whisper White layer to the Bermuda Bay one.
For a little more detail I glued some Pineapple Punch ribbon on the back of these layered cards in the top left corner and the tied it in a bow at the front – glue dots are great for this.
Finally I added this to the Pineapple Punch base using Foam Adhesive Strips. The Elephant was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick project and will be inspired to give it a go.
