There are 2 main definitions of ‘CASE’ and today I’m going with the Copy And Share Everywhere one. Later this week I’ll show you a project where I Copy And Selectively Edit.
The Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue used to be known as the catalogue and ideas book. Although the name has changed, it’s still a fantastic source of ideas. As well as showing you the products it also shows you projects made with them and is a great source of inspiration.
If you’re in the UK and would like me to send you a FREE copy of the catalogue (which costs £5.25 plus P&P online) then just use the Contact Me form in the main menu to send me your details.
Today’s project is a copy of one of the many examples shown using the Nature’s Poem suite in pages 142-144.
I used Blackberry Bliss card stock as my base. It measures 29 x 10.5 cm and is scored at 14.5cm to create a portrait tent fold.
I added a panel of Nature’s Poem designer series paper measuring 10 x 14.5 cm and added it to my base leaving a 0.5 cm gap at the left hand side.
I stamped various large and small leaves from the Rooted In Nature stamp set onto Whisper White card using Rich Razzleberry and Mint Macaron inks and then cut them out using the Nature’s Roots framelits dies.
I glued a length of Burlap Ribbon onto the card front using Tear & Tape along the middle. This allowed me to tuck some of the leaves under and glue some of them on top.
The sentiment is from the Rooted In Nature stamp set too but is made up of 2 long stamps. So I used my Stampin’ Write marker in Mint Macaron to ink up 1 word at a time to stamp onto Mint Macaron card. I trimmed the tag and added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and finally added a Blackberry Bliss twine bow from the Nature’s Twine set of 4 spools with a glue dot.
As Blackberry Bliss card is difficult to write on I added a panel of Whisper White card inside the card.
I love the natural look of the burlap and twine along with the leaves on this card, which inspired me to just go along and copy it.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project. I’ve listed the products used below and if you’d like to buy any of them just click on one to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. I’d love to be your selected independent demonstrator. All my lovely customers receive a handmade card and gift from me every month they make a purchase.
