Today’s card is quite minimal. I usually add layers to a card but as this one was going in the mail I decided to keep it a bit more simple…
Because it’s a more simple card I still wanted it to be extra special so used Shimmery White card stock – I absolutely adore the soft shimmer of this card! My card base is my usual 29 x 10.5 cm card scored at 14.5 cm to make a portrait tent fold.
The only colour I’ve added is Berry Burst. I cut the numbers in Berry Burst card using the soon to retire and oh so fabulous Large Number framelits dies. I’ve lost count of the number of cards I’ve made with these dies. They’re great for birthdays and anniversaries, especially when combined with the Number of Years stamp set.
All of the stamps I used are from the Number of Years set – also retiring soon – and I used Berry Burst Ink.
I used one of the Stitched Shapes thinlits dies for the circle, again in Shimmery White card and glued the numbers to it. I added 3 narrow strips of Berry Burst card and Fresh Florals designer series paper to the card base before added the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I then covered the numbers with Wink of Stella for that extra bit of shimmery delight and added some Glitter Enamel Dots and Tutti Frutti self adhesive sequins.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. If you’d like to buy any of the products I’ve used you can click on the items in the Product List below. I’d be delighted to be your independent demonstrator.
