Hello! Today’s project was inspired by a shopping bargain. I picked up a few small Yankee jar candles in an outlet store during my recent visit to Gretna Green. One of my bargains was in one of my favourite scents; Vanilla Lime!
So I just had to make a box for it, ready for a small birthday gift…
The base for my box just had to be Lemon Lime Twist for my Vanilla Lime candle, lol.
I decided to use this confetti style paper from Picture Perfect Party designer series paper, which also has some Bermuda Bay circles in it. So I added panels of Bermuda Bay card to the box before adding the DSP.
The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Confetti Celebrations stamp set. I stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White card and used my 2 inch punch to tie in with the circles on the paper. I also used the balloon stamp from the same set to add the partial circles to the Whisper White card in both Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist ink. I popped the sentiment up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally I punched holes in the top of the carton and used Lemon Lime Twist mini striped ribbon to tie the box closed.
