As promised in yesterday’s blog post here’s the card I made for my beautiful friend’s wedding at the weekend…
The names, place & date were all computer generated and printed on Whisper White card. My card base is 6 x 6 inches of Thick Whisper White, I added a layer of Gold Foil card and a layer of Whisper White.
I die cut 27 hearts from Whisper White in total using the Sweet & Sassy framelits; 3 of the printed ones and 24 plain ones. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to stack the hearts. I embossed all of the other hearts with various folders.
I used the Floral Phases stamp set with Versamark and Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder heat set on the inside of the card.
As the card was a little bulky with the stacked hearts I didn’t want it to get squashed in an envelope so I made a box for it using Thick Whisper White card….
I decorated the box with a panel of Shimmery White card and added die cuts from Bloomin’ Hearts thinlets in Shimmery White and Gold Foil. The Love die cut comes from Sunshine Wishes thinlets in Gold Foil.
I used a ton of my favourite products from my stash as this was such as special card for me to make. I’ve listed them all below if you’re interested.
I’d really love to hear what you think about this card, box & money envelope. I think it was a lovely combination but then again I am a little bit biased, lol…
