Springtime Foil Birthday

I am in love with the Springtime Foil speciality designer series paper! It is so luxurious and fun to work with.  I’ve used my Stampin’ Blends on it again to colour the flowers and leaves for this birthday card…

I really didn’t want to distract attention away from this beautiful paper so all I added was the birthday sentiment and a thin strip of Gold Foil paper and a mat of Powder Pink card.  This paper just doesn’t need anything more, does it?

The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and I used Versamark ink, sprinkled on some Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it.

So simple but I think it’s so effective.  I love the rose gold foil on this paper and I really hope we get to see more of the same in the next catalogue that launches in June.
