Today’s project using Color Me Happy stamp set is this belated birthday card…
As with yesterday’s project I used one of the Sale-A-Bration 2018 Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes as my base.
I’ve kept the layout of this card pretty simple, again to show off as much of the beautiful printed card base as possible.
I kept with the Pool Party theme and coloured one of my birds with my Stampin’ Blends in that colour. I used Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends for the other little bird. I added a little ground/shadow in light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend.
My sentiment is actually from Bird Banter set and is perfect if, like me, you occasionally forget to send someone a birthday card. This was stamped in Pool Party ink on Whisper White card and them matted onto Pool Party card.
The final touch were some of the self-adhesive sequins from the Tutti-Frutti range.

I think it was in the wee leaflet that came out when the Blends were launched. I love these birds 😀
