Way back Wednesday – candle box remake

Hello and thank you for joining me.

When I was looking for something else in my craft room the other day (I really must tidy it sometime but crafting is much more fun!) I came across a candle that was leftover from a set of 3.

I previously make a box for one of the other candles and thought this one deserved a box too. The scent of the candle is called Coastal Walk so Seaside Spray was my obvious colour choice…

I made the box with Whisper White Thick card following my previous blog post which you can see if you click here.

I used panels of the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer series paper (DSP) to decorate my box, choosing the Seaside Spray script design from the pack.

I stamped the sentiment from the Delightful Day stamp set in Seaside Spray ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with one of the squares from the Stitched Shapes dies. I cut another piece of the same DSP to measure 1 & 7/8 inches square and used the reverse side to mat the stamped square.

I added one of the Sail Away trinkets as a clue to the scent of the candle inside…
