Yes, I’m aware that it’s not Friday today but I’m taking part in my first ever Fab Friday challenge! This is a challenge created by a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators every other Friday and the latest challenge is to use these colours:

I’ve stepped up to the challenge with this New Year’s Wishes card…

I found this quite a tricky combination but the Circle Celebration stamp set that is available from 5 January 2021 came to the rescue! I reckon these cute circle stamps would look great with any colour combination.

I made my card base with Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. My Pear Pizzaz layer measures 10 x 14 cm and my stamped layer measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

I stamped on a slightly larger piece of Whisper White card and used an extra piece to decorate the inside of the card…

My sentiments for the front and the inside of the card are from the A Wish For Everything stamp set and I used the Layering Circles dies to cut the pieces for the card front and layered them over some Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon that I’d coloured with my Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends…

It was only when I was about to assemble my card that I realised that I’d actually stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink instead of Pear Pizzazz. So I decided to treat it as a design feature (not a mistake!) and stamped over the Soft Sea Foam with Pear Pizzazz. I knew I’d never be able to line up the stamps perfectly so I didn’t even try! Lol

I reckon the hope for bright tomorrows is one we can all share right now and also fits in pretty well with this colourful colour challenge.
