InspireInk Blog Hop – Romance theme

Hello and thank you for joining me and fellow independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators for the InspireInk Blog Hop. This month the theme is Romance and with Valentine’s Day not too far away I decided that love must be in the air…

It may seem natural to most people to reach for hearts and flowers but clearly I’m not your typical romantic! I reached for my Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away thinlits dies, lol.

I did at least feature Real Red and some hearts. My card base is my usual Whisper White Thick card cut to 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5cm. I added a panel of Daffodil Delight card measuring 14.3 x 10.3 cm and then some Pool Party measuring 10 x 14 cm.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card to 9.5 x 13.5 cm and stamped the smaller balloons from Lift Me Up in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Real Red randomly, making sure that some were stamped off the page.

I also stamped 2 of the smaller balloons and 1 large balloon in Real Red onto Whisper White card scraps and cut them with the Up & Away thinlits dies. I also stamped a few of the love hearts and die cut them too. All of these were added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with my Classic Label punch. I also used this punch on some Pool Party card and glued them together but offset a bit. I then glued this to the card with one end tucked under the larger balloon.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my take on the Romance theme and are ready to hop along to see what the lovely Gez at Nigezza Creates has created for you by clicking on the next button below…

Happy crafting,

Heather x
